Hello readers,

I was so focused on the weather warming up, that I forgot about the most magical part of spring. Pollen! Every year, my mind is completely wiped of how miserable spring allergies are, and I have the honor of rediscovering it through a trip to Walmart for a six pack of Kleenex.

If you see me getting my mail with the reddest, puffiest, teariest face you've ever seen, I'm not sad. I'm just trying to make it through this season without scratching my cornea from rubbing my eyes too much.

Still, when I remember that we were buried in snow a few weeks ago, I'd say it's well worth it.

P.S. I'm still not counting this as a weather cop-out newsletter topper. Sue me if you disagree

In today's newsletter: Rangeley park improvements, Carrabassett Valley art show, MSAD 58 budget cuts, and more!

Thanks for reading,

Having this art show in our community recognizes our youth artists, shows value, brings value to them, shows them the value of art.”

— Anne Poirier-Flight, art teacher at Stratton School, on a local youth art show.
