It's spooky season! As soon as the air turns crisp and the leaves start to hit the ground, it just feels like Halloween in Maine. This is the time of year when I want to make a pot of chili, wrap myself in a blanket, and watch "Hocus Pocus" or "Halloweentown."

Of course, there is so much to do to celebrate Halloween in the Kennebunks! Don't miss the 27th annual Pumpkin Patch Trolley, or a festive planting in pumpkins workshop. Not spooky enough for you? Check out a Halloween Ghost Walk in Kennebunkport!

In this week's newsletter: Read about an RSU 21 teacher resignation, the Franciscan Guest House project in Kennebunk, and sustainable sushi in Kennebunkport.

As always, feel free to email me with story ideas and photos!

Thanks for reading,

- Sydney Richelieu
