Last Saturday was Valentine's Day, and if you're like me, it probably zipped right past you. For me, this is unfortunately uncharacteristic. I've always been such a huge fan of the holiday! There's something beautiful about a holiday dedicated to love. I could wax poetic to a ridiculous word count about the power and beauty of love, but I think the biggest reason I was so sad about the lack of pomp or circumstance was because I normally wear such a good outfit!

I have a specific sweater solely dedicated to Valentine's Day that I have taken to wearing every year. It's this adorable pink and red cardigan with hearts all over and heart buttons to complete it — it's like Cupid got a sewing machine and had no clue what to do with it — and it's perfect!

Despite not wearing it on the actual holiday, I've decided to allow the sweater to be worn on any other of the 364 days of the year. Maybe since I didn't get to wear it last Saturday, I'll just have to wear it as much as I can to give it the appreciation it so very much deserves. If you ever see a lady in a heart-covered cardigan, it very well may be me!
