Happy Monday, Skowhegan!
As usual, summer is rushing by, seemingly nearly over before it began. I hope you're all having a good one.
This time of year is busiest for my family — jampacked with weekend getaways, big trips, visits to and from extended family and my daughter's summer camps.
Oftentimes the most satisfying activities are the simplest. One that Alaina and I enjoy is going down to the small waterfall and stream behind our home, experiencing the serenity of the sights and sounds.
If you're looking for a waterfall not too far from you, check out our guide to 11 Maine waterfalls to explore. Did we miss any of note?
Please don't hesitate to email me with submissions about upcoming events or other community contributions to be included in this newsletter. I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks for reading. Until next time, — Alex Lear |
