Happy Tuesday, Skowhegan!
A colleague pointed out that the days are getting a little longer. In fact, the sun will set at 5 tonight, something we haven't seen since early November. Before you know it, we'll be moving the clocks ahead and preparing for spring.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves, there is still a lot to enjoy this winter such as Somerset SnowFest kicking off Saturday with Winter Carnival at Lake George Regional Park, West. The event will feature box and sled races for children, ice hole competitions and much more.
As always, email Jake Freudburg with submissions about upcoming events or other community contributions to be included in this newsletter.
Thank you for reading. Until next time,
