Happy Monday,
While waiting for sandwiches the other day at Amato's another customer asked me: "why wouldn't the skeleton cross the road?"
I didn't have the answer.
"Because he didn't have the guts!" the guy told me with a belly laugh.
He made my day. How often does a stranger engage you with a little banter and fun? He had a couple other jokes, but I'm not good at remembering them and they weren't apropos to the season. But they were funny!
And speaking of Halloween, there are all kinds of Trunk or Treat festivitiees coming up. If your community or organization is presenting a Halloween celebration, please email me and we'll post it in our newsletter next week!
Thanks for reading,
Nicole Carter |
