The Hawthorne House Association will host an Evening of Global Jazz at the boyhood home of Nathaniel Hawthorne in Raymond on Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m.
The event will feature a performance from acclaimed South African saxophonist McCoy Mrubata, alongside guitarist Garry Wittner. Mrubata is a recipient of the South African Music Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as the Kennedy Center International Arts Gold Medal, while Wittner has performed on five continents as a Kennedy Center Jazz Ambassador.
