Dear friends,

For 39 years, Telstar’s Tim O’Connor, who will retire in June, has been a rock in students’ lives.

He's not the teacher doing back-flips in the hallway, but the reliable one, the "steady Eddie," who greets students each day.

Graduating seniors mention O'Connor in their "gratitude videos," even the ones who have never played football or taken Industrial Arts from O'Connor.

This fall, he texted all his former homeroom students just to check in. Every single one wrote back.

That’s impact.

In today's newsletter: Hanover Library's Fall Festival; Buck's Ledge Trail for All Grand Opening, and much more.

Thanks for reading,
