I've lived in New England my whole life, but the weather here will never fail to amaze me. What was a rainy, cold weekend suddenly turned into the most beautiful, sunny Monday.

In this week's newsletter: Read about the Biddeford High School Odyssey of the Mind champions, housing efforts in Saco, and a local author writing crime novels for Mainers.
As always, feel free to email me with story ideas and photos!

Thornton Academy's popular annual auction will return in May with a special salute to the school's 214-year history. The hybrid auction allows supporters, both online and in person, to bid on a wide range of items, including Boston Celtics and New England Patriots tickets.
The auction supports critical programming, expands academic opportunities, provides free breakfast and lunch for students in need, and enhances campus life. The online bidding is May 5-9, followed by the in-person event on Saturday, May 17, at Thornton Academy.
The theme of the evening, "Thornton Academy Through the Years," celebrates Thornton milestones and the alumni who have passed through the school.
